More Monsters and Sprites
  • Released:June 7, 2011
  • Label:Big Beatc
  • Formats: CD, LP, digital download
Review: "The mindset of Electronic producer Skrillex must be more of the same is good, otherwise this mini e.p. wouldn't exist. Best known for his song Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites, Skrillex felt is was necessary to bestow upon the world three new songs accompanied with four remixes of his signature song only seven months since the original hit the scene. The result is a fun, but bloated and very unnecessary release."

Leaving
  • Released:January 2, 2013
  • Label:OWSLA, NEST
  • Formats:Digital download
Review: "As Skrillex, Sonny Moore is a fairly astonishing thing – a musical superstar who has never released a proper album. This may suggest a cultural paradigm shift, or simply a DJ with little to say beyond the dance floor. His latest free EP leaves the question open. “The Reason” is an electro-house exercise with pitch-shift changes leading up to a mighty build-and-release, while “Scary Bolly Dub” is boilerplate bro-step wobble with a Bollywood infusion. Only the down-tempo title track finds compelling melodic and emotional turf, conjuring loss with some lonely keyboards, spacious percussion and a single repeated word. It’s a song-let, like the entire EP, that’s standing on the verge of getting it on."

Recess
  • Released:March 17, 2014
  • Label:OWSLA, Big Beat, Atlantic
  • Formats:CD, LP, cassette, digital download
Review: Skrillex is a festival-circuit megastar who’s already put an indelible sonic imprint on the early stretch of this decade, but Recess is his first proper album. It's a mix of big-drop dubstep tunes and whatever-works eclecticism, including spots from Chance the Rapper, Diplo, and Michael Angelakos of Passion Pit.
